HISTORY OF THE FACTORY

"Il Restauro" was born on the professional experiences of the actual Owner: Mr.Ferretti. Mr. Ferretti begins his activity as an learner in a workshop that works in the field of the high performance cars since he is living in the country of the famous cars of Maranello. In those years he has some experiences in the Ferrari racing protoypes field. He restores whole parts broken by the incidents happened to these cars during the world championships to which Ferrari used to partecipate officialy till not many years ago requiring the help of external workshops to restore the racing cars between a race and another one. Then mr. Ferretti works in some workshops placed between Modena and Maranello, also if he always remains in the field of high- performance cars as Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Detomaso etc. The experience of those years was very important for mr. Ferretti who learn deeper and deeper the job. He knows all the models of these famous Marks (mostly their bodies). Since 1990 he decides to work by alone and becomes the owner of "Il Restauro". The object of the restorations are now modern, historical and racing cars. The new technologies and the new materials that are employed in the modern high performance cars, have pushed mr. Ferretti to study these new technical solutions. Now his workshop is able to work on all the models of high-performance cars. Il Restauro further is able to work with great care in order to warrantee to the customer a restoration according to the original standard of quality.
