Bugatti model called "Tank" is one of the most original among the 7800 ones manifactured by Ettore Bugatti during thirty years of activity (1910-1940). It was built in 1923 and took part to the Grand prix of France of that year. Its name was "Type 32" but it was remaned "Tank" because its shape remembered that one of a "tank-car".

The car restored by mr. Torelli is the number 6 that during the Grand Prix of France was drived by Friederich. He awarded the third place.

The technical caratheristics of the car "Tank", a very rare model, have pushed Gianni Torelli towards a very deep research. But "Il Restauro", a workshop that perhaps is the most documented in the World for the cars Bugatti, has overcome every thwart restoring the car to the ancient splendour.

The car, completely rebuilt in the workshop "Il restauro" was before totally dismounted. The engine has been completely overhauled and in some cases Gianni Torelli has provided to manifacture again some mechanical parts with the typical precision of all Ettore Bugatti's creations.

The chassis has finally been cared. In those times it presented vanguard solutions in aerodynamics, braking, technology. The car was then tested on the lap.
