HISTORY OF THE FACTORY

Gianni Torelli's love for the mechanics begins when he, very young boy, makes by play the first elaborations of the little engines of the bikes for his friends. But already at that time he does not just mount and dismount. He tries to understand too how every part of the engine is acting and the reason of the shape of every part. |
| When 18 years old
he manifactures by himself mechanical parts of cars and bikes engines.
Some years of a professional school are a good basis for a general mechanical culture. He begins to work in an authorized Fiat workshop where he learns to know perfectly the chassis and the engines of the modern cars. |

Some historical cars
passionates involve him to restore some famous
modelli to partecipate to the historical cars races. The love and the competency of Gianni Torelli for the restores become mythical and since 1971 he was called to the meetings of historical cars by numerous and rich customers. After the first restored car (it was a Fiat 514 Mille Miglia) the development of
his activity was quicker and quicker.
Now the reputation of "Il Restauro" nearby the owners of historical cars (in Italy and abroad) is bigger and bigger. |
